Knight Frank Uganda and DM Construction recently launched the Admas Lake View Apartments located in Luzira, one of Kampala’s fastest growing suburbs that have notably become one of the most preferred residential areas with fantastic views of Lake Victoria.

The developer, DM Construction and Trading Company Limited, is a well-established Juba based Construction Company behind some of Juba’s prominent apartment buildings, warehouses, villas and hotels.

Director of Housing in the Ministry of Lands, Dave Khayangayanga who was the guest of honor said that the country was in deficit of over 1.6 million housing units and therefore the need for private developers and real estate investors was timely.

He applauded the developer for the finely finished apartments stating that their quality and style was in line with the quality and standards that the government aims for as part of its target to attain a lower middle income status by 2020.

In as much as it is true that the highest demand for residential accommodation is within the social housing and affordable housing sectors, there is still tangible demand for middle - high income housing for rent and sale, from second or third home owners, property investors, and High Net Worth Individuals according to Judy Rugasira Kyanda; Managing Director Knight Frank Uganda. “Developments of this nature are playing a role in meeting demand for housing albeit targeted to a smaller segment of the housing market, but one which is critical in growing the housing market of Uganda” she continued.

Located on Lake Drive Road and functionally designed with comfort and style in mind, Admas Lake View Apartments offer the calming lakefront views in a serene and secure environment. The light and airy apartments provide en suite bathrooms, ample parking space, green play areas among other facilities.
